Job Description
- Performs sonography procedures for the diagnosis of medical conditions.
- Assists radiologist with biopsy and drainage procedures.Procedures will be performed according to departmental protocols, policies and procedures and established standards of practice.
- Performs high level disinfection of probes following departmental protocols.
- Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor reflective of medical ethics.
- Assesses, monitors, and provides appropriate patient care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program and ARDMS registry eligible.
- (Registry must be completed within 9 months of hire) OR ARRT registry with ultrasound credential.
- American Heart Association BLS required within 30 days of hire.
