Truck Driver

One Federal Solution is seeking a qualified Truck Driver to support a government client in the Washington, DC area. The selected candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of a commercial vehicle to transport materials within the assigned region. The ideal candidate will need to have a clean driving record and meet eligibility requirements for a Public Trust clearance.

• Operate a truck to transport materials within the DMV area, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations
• Ensure timely and secure delivery of goods as required by the government client
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, and fuel usage
• Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
• Adhere to security and confidentiality guidelines when handling sensitive materials

• Valid CDL (if required for vehicle class) and a clean driving record
• Must be Public Trust eligible and able to pass a background check
• Prior experience driving commercial or government vehicles preferred
• Knowledge of Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia traffic routes and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to lift and move materials if needed

Truck Driver Expected Hours: Assignments may begin as early as 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, with shift lengths varying based on the duration of each assignment. Evening hours are not offered. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and be available to report to work as needed upon request.
