Job Overview:
As a Traveling Cook, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals across various client locations. You will work alongside chefs to prepare food for daily deliveries and special catering events, while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen. This role requires a versatile and detail-oriented cook who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working in different settings.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all served food, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Work with the chef to prep for daily deliveries and catering events.
- Follow standard recipes and accommodate special diet orders as needed.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and appliances.
- Restock office pantries with necessary items, such as coffee, milk, and sweeteners.
- Ensure compliance with all sanitation and food production codes.
- Communicate effectively with clients and staff, fostering a positive environment.
- Manage inventory and help with restocking supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create delicious food and enhance dining experiences.
- Ensure food preparation aligns with company standards and client expectations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
