Training Specialist

Position Overview DSN is seeking a Training Specialist to serve as a key member of the onboarding team, delivering training both in the office and on the shop floor. This onsite role is based in East Peoria, IL, and plays an important part in ensuring new hires receive proper training and support as they join the organization. The Training Specialist will work closely with the onboarding and training teams to facilitate orientation, deliver instructor-led and virtual training programs, and support new employees through their transition into the company.

Position's Contribution to Work Group

• Key part of the onboarding team, providing training both in the office and on the shop floor.

Typical Day or Week in the Role Typical Task Breakdown:

• Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation sessions.
• Deliver instructor-led and virtual training programs.
• Conduct safety and compliance training in accordance with company policies.
• Assess trainee knowledge and performance.
• Monitor trainee progress and provide coaching and feedback.
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation.

Team Structure:

• Part of the onboarding/training team.

Work Environment:

• In-classroom and on the shop floor, providing training as part of the onboarding experience.

Requirements Candidate Requirements Education & Experience Required:

• 2?4 years of teaching or training experience.
• Comparable background: prior experience as a Training Specialist or in a similar role.
