Traffic Control Foreman

Requirements

Job Responsibilities :

Oversee and coordinate traffic control operations on job sites.

Train and supervise crew members in traffic control procedures and safety protocols.

Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Perform site assessments and ensure proper placement of traffic control devices.

Coordinate with local authorities and project managers to ensure project specifications are met.

Ensure that all equipment and materials are available for the crew.

Inspect work zones to ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.

Provide feedback to crew members and address any performance issues.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in traffic control or similar role required. (preferred)

Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.

Must have a valid driver's license

Knowledge of traffic control procedures and regulations.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.

Regular exposure to varied outdoor weather conditions and moving traffic.

Must be able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.

Availability:

May require working nights and weekends.

Must be available for overtime and occasional overnight travel.
