Tools System Engineer

• Must possess a solid understanding of event management, system/application health server operating system, agent and agentless monitoring, network, application and end-point performance, tuning and measurements.
• The candidate will ensure the COTS products function properly with PKI-based authentication, corporate authorization services, firewalls, and SSL/TLS communications.
• Assist with testing and deploying hotfixes/patches/new releases of the tools suite.
• Assist with development of knowledge articles, documentation, and work instructions used by the Tools Team and tools users.

Requirements

• High School Degree/GED and 19 years of related experience
• A Bachelor of Science may be substituted for 5 years of experience
• Brocade
• Cisco
• Juniper JUNOS Network Operating System
• Must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Network Device (firewall/router/switch) System Administration
• Palo Alto
• Proficient in Linux/UNIX commands
• Proficient in Windows Server OS
• RHEL 7x, 8x, or 9x
• RHEL/Linux Server Administration
• Web Applications
• Windows Server 2016, 2019, or 2022
• Windows Server Administration

• Application/SA Experience with the OpenText Ops Bridge Suite
• Experience in Python, R, JavaScript, or Perl programming; or UNIX scripting
• Experience with OpenText Application Performance Management (APM)
• Experience with OpenText Business Process Monitor (BPM)
• Experience with OpenText OPTIC Data Lake
• Experience with OpenText Operations Bridge Reporter (OBR)
