Opportunity of this role:

Our continued growth, success, and investment have led to the rapid expansion of our global technology team and we have recently opened our second technology development center in Chennai, India.

As a member of our global technology team, we are looking for a QA Automation Tester. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, as part of our Engineering team, you will work closely with team developers, responsible for the software testing outcomes throughout the agile development of A2MAC1 Platform, products and services.

Your responsibilities as a member within one of our Agile Scrum teams will include the design, creation, execution and maintenance of both manual and automated test cases and contributing to global software testing thought leadership to ensure the continued satisfaction of customers using the A2MAC1 Platform, products and services.

Experience required:

Demonstrable experience as a QA Automation Tester (with QA certification based on background as a professional tester of front-end (online B2B SaaS) applications and back-end services (including API, micro-services and SQL database)

Ability to functionally decompose Agile Stories into actionable testable tasks, estimate effort and create and maintain automation test suites based on quality assurance best practice

Ability to create automation tests that can demonstrate quality of both functional and non-functional requirements (e.g, performance, scalability, resilience, security, etc.)

Experience of defining and validating use case acceptance criteria for the identification, communication, management, and resolution of identified defects

Used to working in an Agile environment, using test tools, IDE, CI/CD toolsets (preferably Azure DevOps, Selenium, JMeter, SQL, Low-code/No-code) to create and manage a comprehensive test suite, and supporting cross-functional Agile team members to ensure Sprint success

Understanding of best practice software engineering processes, techniques, and software technologies (preferably C#, .Net, SQL, NoSQL, Angular, Typescript, CSS, JavaScript)

Understanding of Cloud technologies and how to test products built on them (preferably Azure, virtualization, containerization, webservers, micro-services, authentication, managed services, etc.)

Qualifications & interpersonal skills required:

Minimum of Bachelor's degree in an IT or computer science discipline with QA certification

Excellent English (French a bonus) communication skills, able to effectively communicate test progress and support developer understanding for corrective actions with empathy and patience

Creative thinker, able to use imagination to create innovative test scenarios

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with an eye for detail

Self-motivated, rigorous, and willing to work collaboratively as part of a team

Comfortable working to tight deadlines and taking responsibility for delivery

Willingness to respond to customer reported issues to qualify and reproduce defects
