Field Engineer HVAC Test and Balance Technician: This is where you come in.

We are seeking a Field Engineer HVAC Test and Balance Technician to perform certified testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of specialized HVAC systems in commercial facilities, ensuring they operate according to engineered design plans.This role involves servicing commercial retail and design-build projects, utilizing provided equipment to maintain high service standards, and collaborating with clients and other trades during projects.In return for achieving ambitious goals, you'll be rewarded with increased responsibilities, numerous growth opportunities, and greater autonomy than you've likely experienced before.

The Field Engineer position reports directly to Ron Landberg, the Field Engineering Manager at MacDonald-Miller. In this role, you'll join a collaborative team engaged in diverse projects and initiatives aimed at supporting our expanding business operations.Ron brings extensive experience to the team, having worked with several hospitals in the Pacific Northwest and leading an HVAC data and testing healthcare team. ?

You should have?

• Proficiency in Utilizing Specialized Instruments for System Evaluations: Demonstrated experience with tools such as digital multimeters, infrared cameras, airflow meters, refrigerant leak detectors, and temperature-humidity meters is essential for accurate diagnostics and assessments of HVAC systems. ?
• Proven Ability to Deliver Precise and Comprehensive Reports of Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) Findings: A strong track record in documenting detailed reports that accurately reflect system performance and compliance with design specifications is crucial.?
• NEBB Certification (Preferred): Holding a certification from the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) is advantageous, as it signifies adherence to industry standards and a commitment to maintaining high-quality performance in TAB procedures.
