Job Description


The University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law invites applications for two tenure-track or lateral tenured professors to begin July 1, 2026. We are looking to address specific curricular needs including Property in the first year and a clinical course (clinical subject matter is open, with preference for criminal defense or environmental law). We seek candidates with demonstrated potential for outstanding teaching, original scholarship, and a sincere interest in becoming active members of our community.All candidates must hold a J.D. from an American Bar Association approved law school prior to beginning employment.
