Due to continuous growth, CommScope is looking to hire Technician , Maintenance to be based at our site in Goa.

Responsible for maintenance of production equipment. It includes setting and executing PM schedules, breakdown maintenance, setting up new machinery / new lines, keeping track of engineering spares.

Should be ready to work in shifts

How you'll help us connect the world:

Execute preventive maintenance (PM) as scheduled.

Attend and resolve breakdown calls promptly.

Control Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).

Escalate pending jobs to higher-ups.

Follow and enforce safety norms.

Maintain high 5S standards.

Track spare consumption and report deviations.

Ensure compliance with all regulations.

Maximize machinery uptime.

Troubleshoot equipment quickly.

Set and achieve objectives.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

Education : BE in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering with 1-2 years of experience, or a Diploma with 3-5 years of experience.

Experience : Installation, commissioning, PM, and breakdown of equipment, especially fiber optic/cable machinery.

Skills : Electrical control systems, industrial automation, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, PLC programming, basics of fiber optics, and mechanical components like gearboxes and motors.

Soft Skills : Leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

You will excite us if you have:

Ability to meet tight schedules and deadlines.

Presentation and Excel skills.

Knowledge of SAP, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.

Advanced PLC and drive programming skills.
