GAO Tek Inc., a leading RFID supplier, is seeking a dedicated Technical Support Assistant/Executive to join its team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to collaborate on various product lines and contribute to the development and optimization of technical solutions for both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in technology, a background in a technical field, and the ability to work effectively within EDT/EST time zones.

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Guide Interns in Sourcing and Evaluating Tech Products: Lead interns in sourcing and assessing new technology products that align with the company’s product offerings. This involves evaluating product requirements, providing technical expertise, and ensuring that selected products meet quality and performance standards.
  • Supervise the Creation and Editing of User Manuals and Product Videos: Oversee the development of user manuals and product videos. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams to ensure content is accurate, clear, and helpful, enhancing the customer experience by providing detailed instructional materials.
  • Optimize Website Content with SEO Keywords: Contribute to the optimization of the company’s website, ensuring content is keyword-rich and aligned with SEO best practices, helping to improve the company’s visibility on search engines, enhancing traffic and user engagement.
  • Prepare and Review Technical Documents and Presentations: Prepare and review the technical documentation, including guides, reports, and presentations. These documents should be clear, detailed, and tailored to support customer inquiries and internal reference purposes.
  • Manage and Update the Knowledge Base: Ensure that the company’s knowledge base is consistently maintained, with up-to-date technical information, product data, and guides that assist customers and internal teams in making informed decisions.
  • Ensure Timely Updates and Uploads of Products on the Website: Responsible for managing the timely updates and uploads of product listings on the company website, ensuring product availability and accuracy.
  • Conduct Product Research to Assist Sales Staff with Customer Queries: Support the sales team by conducting in-depth research on product features, specifications, and use cases. This research helps sales staff provide accurate and effective responses to customer queries, enhancing the overall customer experience.

Academic & Professional Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Automatic Control.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support role.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation, product evaluation, and SEO optimization.

Requirements:

  • Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Genuine interest in technology and staying updated with industry trends.
  • Must have access to a personal laptop/PC with a reliable internet connection.
  • Flexibility to work according to EDT/EST time zone hours.
