Tax Senior

Elite Sourcing LLC is currently partnered with one of the top accounting firms in Virginia that is an independent member of one of the largest accounting firms in the world. They are currently looking for a Tax Senior who will play a vital role in providing tax compliance and advisory services to clients, ensuring accurate tax filings, and maximizing tax benefits.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting research on tax laws and regulations, and collaborating with clients and team members to optimize tax strategies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Research and interpret tax laws and regulations
• Assist in tax planning and advisory services for clients
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary tax information and documentation
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines
• Identify and recommend tax-saving opportunities for clients
• Mentor and guide junior tax professionals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA certification is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
