Job Description

Stradley Ronon is seeking an associate to join our Tax Department to support the firm's nationally-recognized investment management practice and acclaimed corporate group. Stradley's tax attorneys routinely advise on complex and nuanced tax issues reaching into every sphere of international, federal, state, and local taxation. As an associate in our Tax Department, you will have a hands-on role supporting strategic tax planning and M&A work for partnerships, C corporations (including regulated investment companies), S corporations, business trusts, and LLCs. Our Tax Department emphasizes a team-oriented, collaborative approach to finding innovative solutions for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your legal skills and tax expertise while working closely with partners and clients, supported by mentors and a collegial firm culture. 2-7 years of experience, including work in a law firm or national office of a major accounting firm. Experience advising on partnership and corporate tax matters. Demonstrated interest in federal, international, state, and local tax. Interest in the investment management industry (prior investment management experience is a plus, but is not required). Motivated to learn and develop knowledge in M&A and investment management-related tax work. This position may be based in any Stradley office, with the flexibility of hybrid or fully remote work for candidates residing in PA, NY, NJ, DE, DC (DMV area), IL, or CA. The estimated salary range for this position is $205,000 to $315,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
