We are seeking a Talent Specialist to support Vista Care Intellectual & Developmental Disability Services operations. The Talent Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. The Talent Specialist owns the process from start-to-finish.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Work Schedule: Full Time; standard work week is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
  • Location/Travel: The position will be hybrid after training is completed. The location of the position will be based in Sheboygan, WI at Vista Care's Corporate Office but the position will be able to work remotely once (1x) a week or at a designated affiliated location as established by the Talent Acquisition Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand position requirements and qualifications
  • Screen applications promptly, within 24 hours
  • Implement proactive recruitment strategies like job fairs, networking, and targeted messaging
  • Establish partnerships with schools and organizations to attract passive candidates
  • Conduct a high volume of interviews, including phone, video, and in-person
  • Promote Vista Care as an "employer of choice" in the community
  • Coordinate and send offer letters and new hire paperwork
  • Build candidate relationships during the selection and onboarding process
  • Gather feedback from hiring managers and provide updates throughout the recruitment process
  • Maintain up-to-date job postings on internal and external sites
  • Ensure compliance with equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws and regulations

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Title VII and relevant employment laws
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
  • Reliable transportation for attending events and visiting different offices
  • High level of computer competency and familiarity with multiple programs and databases
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Two years of high-volume recruitment experience preferred
  • Prior healthcare recruitment experience preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

PAY:

$24 - $27 hourly, depending on experience.
