Expertise and Functions
- Carry out system design and development activities
- Perform technical analysis
- Exercise judgment to make recommendations on technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirements
- Perform duties under supervision of senior engineers
- Follow, perform, and record the results of test plan execution
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training:
- Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited institution in relevant engineering or science discipline required
Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- Familiarity with a range of systems engineering tools - Cameo experience preferred
- Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components preferred
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
