Job Description

Monitor and maintain server hardware, software, and network systems to ensure optimal performance
Install, configure, and upgrade server software, hardware, and operating systems
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to servers, networks, and applications
Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies
Manage and maintain server security, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls
Monitor system performance and capacity planning, proactively identifying and addressing issues before they cause problems
Manage and maintain database systems, ensuring their stability and security
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure server and network systems integrate effectively with other enterprise applications and systems
Develop and implement policies and procedures for server and network administration, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulations
Document and maintain all server and network configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field preferred
3+ years of experience as a System administrator or systems engineer preferred
Extensive knowledge of server hardware, software, and network systems
Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
Experience with Active Directory
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience with Office 356 Admin
Proficiency in Windows, Apple and Linux operating systems.
