Opportunity: Our client is looking for a System Test Program Manager who will be responsible for scheduling and planning the Testing Team projects to meet quality and financial requirements.

Required: You have 4+ years of experience with responsibility for implementing or managing change in an engineering environment.

Requirements

Core responsibilities

  • Take ownership of and formulate the Systems Test Program Plan.
  • Collaborate closely with Testing, Design, Certification, and Manufacturing teams to identify and define testing-related projects required for aircraft hardware development (battery packs, electronics, electric propulsion, flight computers, and navigation systems)
  • Ensure that completed projects align with internal and external performance and documentation standards.
  • Work in coordination with other project managers to align company-level initiatives and achieve key milestones.
  • Actively oversee ongoing projects, monitoring progress, project milestones, and proactively addressing potential issues that could hinder project success.
  • Develop, maintain, communicate, and present schedules to various stakeholders, ranging from individual contributors to executives.
  • Create tools to streamline reporting and planning tasks.

Required

  • B.S. in a related engineering field.
  • 4+ years of experience in an engineering environment, with a track record of implementing or overseeing change initiatives.
  • Showcase a proven ability to manage multiple fast-paced engineering projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the product development cycle for hardware-focused projects
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, and JIRA)

Ideal candidate

  • Experience with FAA certification and aerospace projects
