System Administrator - SAP Basis

Our client is seeking a System Administrator - SAP Basis to join their team. As a System Administrator - SAP Basis. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capability to manage multiple assignments, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: System Administrator - SAP Basis

Location: San Antonio, TX

Minimum 10+ Years Experience required

What's the Job?

Monitor all SAP systems activity daily, including SAP ECC 6, BI/BW, HANA, and other SAP systems.

Maintain SAP ECC and BW profile configurations, adjusting for performance improvements as needed.

Administer and monitor background processing and batch jobs, ensuring smooth operations.

Manage the importing of SAP transports through typical landscapes: development, quality assurance, and production.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors for various audits and provide necessary documentation.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited university, or relevant technical system administration experience.

SAP certifications are preferred.

Experience working in a Linux-based server environment, preferably with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to SAP Basis and Oracle database performance.

Ability to execute assigned tasks with limited instruction and provide task status updates.
