Job Description


Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Swift messaging systems and provide technical guidance and support to the organization.

Design, implement, and maintain Swift messaging systems, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Swift messaging systems with other enterprise applications and systems.

Develop and enforce best practices and standards for Swift messaging systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.

Proactively monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to optimize Swift messaging systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Swift messaging systems and provide timely resolutions.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in Swift messaging systems and provide recommendations for system improvements.

Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for Swift messaging systems.

Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve any issues related to Swift messaging systems.

Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, technical procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

5+ years of experience as a Swift messaging SME or in a similar role.

In-depth knowledge of Swift messaging systems, including experience with SWIFTNet, SWIFT Alliance, and SWIFT message formats (MT, MX).

Strong understanding of messaging protocols, such as ISO 20022, TCP/IP, and MQ Series.

Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Swift messaging infrastructure.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Swift messaging systems.

Familiarity with security protocols and standards for Swift messaging systems.

Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity planning for Swift messaging systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
