Summer Intern, Optimization & Reporting

Role Responsibilities:

This person will work with an Athena team that is engaged with leading firms and clients across a multitude of sectors. You will have the opportunity to add real value and take ownership of key projects in your field, in addition to significant training and professional development opportunities. In addition, weekly training sessions on relevant business topics to enhance your learning. Internship opportunities may focus on marketing, event planning, digital and social analytics, or project management.

• Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
• Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
• Engages with customers or clients and provides services.
• Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes.
• Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.
• Assists in creating client reports.

• Excellent MS Office Skills: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Requirements and Preferred Skills:

• Current student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from a four-year college or university in a related field
• Leadership experience in extracurriculars, volunteer work, and/or sports teams
• Exposure to marketing and social strategy
• Experience with business analytics and KPI reporting
• Experience with Excel and all Microsoft Products (pivot tables, advance formulas, VBA, etc.)
• Experience in MS Project, Airtable, or other project management software

Our paid intern program runs three times per year for nine weeks each. Candidates should be prepared to work in person 20 hours a week, preferably on a consistent schedule and in person. Please note, our internships are an in person experience.
