New Oakland Family Centers provides comprehensive behavioral health and substance abuse services for consumers across Michigan, in both outpatient and partial hospitalization settings.

Location: Livonia Schoolcraft

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am4:30 pm

Reports To: Clinical Director / Clinical Supervisor

Compensation: Salaried employee; Starting at $50,000.00/year. Commensurate with experience.

The FACE to FACE Substance Use Disorder Associate Partial Hospital Therapist plays a critical

role within the FACE to FACE Partial Hospital Program, encompassing a broad range of clinical responsibilities. This

position involves delivering comprehensive therapeutic services, including individual therapy, admissions assessments,

family therapy, group therapy, and other essential services. The Associate Therapist will work collaboratively as part of

a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the highest quality of care for consumers in an acute setting and is committed to

fostering recovery and well-being through evidence-based practices within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Essential Duties / Functions:

  • Acts in accordance with professional standards and policies/procedures of the facility and actively participates as a positive and engaged member of the clinical team and environment, supporting a collaborative work environment.
  • Serves as the second level of support for daily group facilitation, backing and assisting Group Facilitators.
  • Assists with daily group facilitation to consumers in the FACE to FACE Program, adhering to professional standards and the facility's policies and procedures.
  • Facilitates individual, admission, and family therapy to consumers in the FACE to FACE Program in accordance with professional standards and the facility's policies/procedures.
  • Develops and implements treatment plans using a person-centered approach tailored to individual consumer needs.
  • Completes discharge planning and coordination of care as required.
  • Appropriately handles any crisis situation that may occur such as: CPI-approved physical intervention if necessary; CPR if necessary and pursuing eloping clients.
  • Completes documentation as required by the clinic's policies and procedures.
  • Fulfills all initial and ongoing training requirements.
  • Attends and participates in daily FACE to FACE administrative and clinical meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions: Staff are to dress professionally at all times per the Employee Handbook. Staff will need to be prepared to be actively involved with consumers.

Requirements

Master degree and licensure in social work, professional counselor, or psychology required. Full licensure is highly preferred. Possession of MCBAP appropriate certification is highly preferred (CAADC, CADC-M, CADC). One year of substance abuse treatment experience required. IOP, PHP, and/or IP experience preferred.
