Structural Design Engineer - Water/Wastewater

As a member of the Quiddity team, your contributions will have a meaningful impact. Our EITs gain hands-on experience in structural design and project management across a range of civil engineering projects. You'll have the chance to develop leadership skills while working alongside seasoned engineers who offer valuable mentorship and guidance throughout the design process.

Responsibilities

• Design of structures for municipal water and wastewater facilities.
• Review project specifications, manufacturer submittals, local standards and codes.
• Reviews work for discrepancies or inconsistencies, adjusts and correlates data, and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes to completion under the guidance of an experienced engineer.
• Supports mid and senior level engineers.
• Prepare drawings for building department permits and construction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus or a related engineering or science field;
• FE required to advance Engineer-In-Training designation must be completed within 12 months of hire date;
• Structural design experience in municipal water and wastewater facilities preferred.
• Valid TX driver's license and insurable driving record.
