STL Test Engineer 3

Staff4Me is seeking an experienced and highly skilled STL Test Engineer to join our team. As an STL Test Engineer III, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through thorough testing and defect analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies, and identify opportunities for process improvement.

• Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
• Execute test cases and test scripts, and analyze test results to identify defects and improve overall quality.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand software functionality and edge cases.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing.
• Identify, document, and report defects using bug tracking systems.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on design and implementation.
• Evaluate and recommend testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor and guide more junior members of the testing team.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in software testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an STL Test Engineer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Expertise in test planning, test case design, and test execution.
• Strong programming skills in languages like Java, C#, or Python.
• Proficiency in using test automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience with API testing and knowledge of API testing tools.
• Ability to analyze complex software requirements and design comprehensive test scenarios.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience mentoring and guiding junior test engineers.
