Job Description
Staff4Me is seeking an experienced and highly skilled STL Test Engineer to join our team. As an STL Test Engineer III, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through thorough testing and defect analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
- Execute test cases and test scripts, and analyze test results to identify defects and improve overall quality.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand software functionality and edge cases.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing.
- Identify, document, and report defects using bug tracking systems.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on design and implementation.
- Evaluate and recommend testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and guide more junior members of the testing team.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in software testing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an STL Test Engineer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Expertise in test planning, test case design, and test execution.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Java, C#, or Python.
- Proficiency in using test automation tools and frameworks.
- Experience with API testing and knowledge of API testing tools.
- Ability to analyze complex software requirements and design comprehensive test scenarios.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior test engineers.
