Job Description

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer based in Santa Clara, CA with at least 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development. The ideal person will have hands-on experience in C/C++ , Rust and/or Golang. Coursework and/or professional experience in computer architecture and operating systems.

• Location: Mountain View, CA.
• Remote Option: Hybrid

What you'll do (Duties and Responsibilities):

• Contribute to a friendly and helpful company culture

• Think critically about complex technical problems
• End-to-end ownership of features/bugs
• Identify problems/risks and provide technical solutions to improve the product quality

Requirements

What you'll need (Basic Qualifications)

• At least 5+ years of professional experience as a backend software engineer
• Hands on experience in Rust, C/C++, or Golang
• Hands on experience working with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Mongodb etc
• Hands on experience working in Linux environment
• A PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent training or work experience

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise:

• Have Security experience (Crypto, Key Management, PKI)
• Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Proficient in Linux kernel (CPU scheduling, file system, network, I/O, memory management, etc.)
