Staff Software Engineer

AminoChain is seeking a talented and experienced Staff Full Stack Engineer with expertise in blockchain and DevOps to join our innovative team. As a Staff Full Stack Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our decentralized protocol infrastructure for healthcare applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable and secure full stack solutions that leverage blockchain technology and best DevOps practices.

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using blockchain technology, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
• Create and maintain backend APIs using Node.js and implement blockchain technology and smart contracts.
• Build frontend interfaces and user experiences using modern web development frameworks such as Next.js.
• Implement and optimize DevOps processes and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and data scientists to deliver high-quality and innovative solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and adhere to best practices and coding standards.
• Implement and maintain testing frameworks to ensure functionality, performance, and security of the applications.
• Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and security issues.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, blockchain developments, and best practices for DevOps.

Requirements

• Prior experience working as a Staff Full Stack Engineer / Senior Full Stack Engineer with expertise in blockchain and DevOps (>5yrs experience)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Node.js, or Go
• Experience with frontend development using modern frameworks such as Next.js
• Experience with blockchain technologies such as Ethereum, or Solidity
• Knowledge of smart contract development and deployment
• Experience implementing DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Kubernetes)
• Proficient in using cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, agile methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Experience working in early-stage startups and prior experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
