Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and direct to build and establish data-centric infrastructures and tools for continuous development, testing and deployment on cloud.
• Explore and expand the frontier of cloud technology to continuously improve systems and processes. Proactively identify potential technical and management gap, evaluate risk and escalate to upper management and stakeholders.
• Lead the team to build monitoring, metrics, and telemetry instrumentation for whole organization, scaling to support ever-growing private clusters, public cloud, and edge devices.
• Develop and interpret organizational goals and development procedures, review project progress reports, prepare operational reports, provide suggestions regarding cross-functional strategic planning and business planning process to upper management of the company.

Requirements

• BS, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another relevant field.
• 3+ years direct working experience of cloud and data.
• Passionate about self-driving technology and its potential impact on the world
• Experience building data infrastructures on the cloud with proficient skills in QoS, OTA, k8s, etc.
• Strong leadership and project management skills with experiences in leading a team
• Be a strong communicator and open to deal with complex technical concepts with different teams.
