Job Description


Location: Remote Considered Select States (CA, IL, MI, MN, TX, D.C., WI) Practice Group/Leader: Product Liability Litigation/Brian Smith Department/Director: Litigation/Michael Cooney Dykema is seeking Staff Attorneys to join its National Discovery Counsel team. The ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience in written discovery in state and federal courts, with a particular focus on automotive-related litigation. This role requires proficiency in drafting responses to discovery requests, reviewing technical documents, preparing protective orders, and drafting discovery-related motions. Experience with breach of warranty matters and managing large dockets across multiple jurisdictions is preferred. Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines are essential. Candidates must possess strong writing and oral advocacy skills. Location is flexible, and remote positions will be considered in states where Dykema has offices: California, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Texas, Washington, D.C., or Wisconsin.
