Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Draft and review contracts, vendor agreements, and a wide variety of legal correspondence
- Advise executives on the potential legal ramifications of proposed organizational policies and procedures
- Protect the company?s rights in its interactions and advice regarding external parties
- Oversee outside counsel
- Litigation support
- Draft and review leases, lease amendments, responses to landlords? and other real estate agreements and correspondence
- Understand the company?s real estate strategy and implement the same
- Negotiate leases and terms for new and existing store locations
- Possible real estate site selection
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree
- State Bar admission in at least one state where the company does business
- Minimum three (3) years of at least an associate level attorney or similar in-house corporate experience
- Exceptional skills in negotiation and interpersonal communication
- Meticulous, detail-oriented approach to work matters
- Proven performance with factual and legal research and analysis
- Ability to communicate persuasively ? in writing, speaking, and via audio-visual technologies
