Job Description

Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day accounting duties, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, trust accounting and reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual budget and forecast processes.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support management decision-making.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors as necessary.
Continuously improve and streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in a law firm
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
