We currently operate on a hybrid schedule and the majority of our time is remote.

Our Staff Accountant is responsible for general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations and management reporting as necessary. They support the financial needs of the organization by working collaboratively with various departments to provide financial information, and works with management on ad-hoc projects as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Exemplify the Reeds' Mission and Core Business Values .
• Review and research assigned stores/corporate department financial statements.
• Complete assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and other month end accruals related to core areas of responsibility.
• Provide detailed analyses and explanations of transactions.
• Assist with month-end close and financial statement review process
• Support annual external audits
• Research, compile, and analyze data in conjunction with special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of one - two years of accounting experience

• Workday experience a plus

• Intermediate/Advanced usage Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Exceptional written, verbal, and communication skills

• Must be organized and able to work as a team player
