Sr. Tax Accountant

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Conduct detailed tax research and analysis to support compliance and tax planning strategies.
• Advise clients on tax implications of business transactions, financial decisions, and strategies for minimizing tax liabilities.
• Assist in the resolution of tax-related issues and support clients during audits.
• Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
• Stay informed on industry changes and updates to tax laws and regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax software and tools essential for tax preparation and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in tax accounting.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Experience with tax preparation and compliance software (e.g., CCH Axcess, Thomson Reuters)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, meeting deadlines effectively.
• Proven capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
