Requirements
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESBe an essential player in drafting and negotiating key agreements, ensuring that all terms are meticulously articulated and aligned with the strategic goals of the organization. This includes:
Review, edit, and prepare a comprehensive range of essential legal documents and routine agreements, including, but not limited to, non-disclosure agreements, assignment agreements, lender consents, estoppels, lien waivers, and numerous other agreements that are vital to protecting the company's legal standing and operational integrity.
Collaborate closely with the Land Team, Development, and Business Development Teams on a myriad of legal matters, ensuring that all contractual relationships are properly managed and executed. This includes working on:
Liaise effectively with local counsel to address jurisdiction-specific requirements and issues, such as land use and permitting, community solar program regulations, lien laws, tax matters, and business registrations, thus ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Ensure adherence to the Company Authority Matrix and Underwriting Standards, thus maintaining the integrity and accountability of all legal and financial transactions.
Provide continuous compliance support related to financing agreements, ensuring that all financial obligations are met and that the company remains in good standing with its partners and stakeholders.
