The New York and Chicago offices of a prestigious firm are looking for mid-to-senior level associates to join their Corporate group. Seeking one or more experienced associates with a minimum of 4 years of significant experience in corporate transactions with an emphasis on private equity transactions and/or M&A work. Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and other documentation utilized in complex private equity and/or M&A transactions, a proficiency in the drafting of the same, and strong knowledge of the negotiation points involved in such matters. The role requires a candidate who is self-driven, with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload, and a desire for a fast-paced and collaborative working environment, with significant opportunity for career advancement. Strong academic credentials and writing skills are essential. Our client is open to candidates who would relocate to either their Chicago or New York offices. New York or Illinois bar admission.
