SQL and ETL Developer

VSI Infotech LLP is looking for a skilled SQL and ETL Developer to join our data integration team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouses. You will work closely with tableau developer and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure that data is accurate, consistent, and timely. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, experience with ETL tools like SSIS, and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts. • Design and develop ETL processes to efficiently move data from multiple sources into data warehouses.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Optimize existing ETL workflows for improved performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with business analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.
• Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot issues, ensuring data is accurately loaded with minimal downtime.
• Document ETL processes, data models, and technical specifications.
• Stay current with industry best practices and new technologies in data integration and ETL.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience working as an SQL and ETL Developer or in a similar data-focused role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
• Experience with ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, or Microsoft SSIS.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with cloud data services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
