Sprinkler Project Manager

Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking a dedicated Fire Sprinkler Project Manager for our location in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and possess extensive experience in managing sprinkler system projects from conception to completion, ensuring all aspects are meticulously handled. This involves coordinating with subcontractors, tracking project timelines, and managing budgets.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of sprinkler projects.
• Work closely with general contractors and clients to ensure all schedules are met.
• Examine all design documents thoroughly before fabrication begins.
• Approve and verify submittals for compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
• Ensure the permitting process is carried out with local authorities having jurisdiction.
• Participate in project meetings, perform job site visits, and conduct site surveys as needed.
• Monitor project financials and identify potential cost savings.
• Review project timecards and monitor workforce allocation.
• Document and communicate any discrepancies or unclear instructions that could affect project coordination.
• Maintain communication with field foremen to address any changes throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation.
• Minimum of 3 years in project management roles.

• Strong familiarity with NFPA 13, NFPA 20, NFPA 25, and FM Global Standards.

• Comprehensive understanding of Fire Sprinkler Design principles, including Wet, Dry, Preaction, and Deluge systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
