Qualifications:

• Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensure/Certifications:
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (required).
• Experience: 5+ years of clinical SLP experience; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, CMS), budget management, and quality improvement methodologies.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate speech-language pathology staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Coordinate speech therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, or school-based settings.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards (e.g., ASHA, Joint Commission).
• Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Collaborate with physicians, educators, and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans.
• Provide clinical guidance and consultation for complex cases.
• Oversee staff continuing education, training, and professional development.
