Seeking a Material Process Engineer to work in a lab environment performing various wet chemistry techniques, moisture analyses, particle size analysis, calorimetry, mechanical property testing.

Essential Functions:

Manage projects and/or labatory test with general supervision.

Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures.

Recommends enhancements to systems and processes.

Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results.

Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior Material Process Engineering experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior Material Process Engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior Material Process Engineering experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Advanced degree in Chemistry is preferred.

Quality control lab experience is preferred.

Knowledge of various wet chemistry techniques, moisture analyses, particle size analysis, calorimetry, mechanical property testing desired.

Experience with American Standard Test Methods (ASTM?s), Military Specifications, and Weapons Specifications.

Energetics or Propellant experience is desired.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools; Excel, PowerPoint.

Project Management experience is desired.
