We are well-positioned to strengthen our relationships with our Federal clients as we deliver solutions at higher levels of the software stack.

YOUR IMPACT

Do you excel at providing impactful solutions to customers As a Solutions Engineer at Cisco, you will be integral to the sales process, working with Federal accounts to enhance their operations. You'll have the opportunity to significantly improve the lives of our Federal customers by delivering innovative business solutions tailored to their specific needs.

Work directly with customers and assist them solving complex technical issues using Cisco solutions.

Present Cisco products, prototyping of customer solutions, support larger sales opportunities and customer deployments.

Deploy applications in modern environments including system automation, scripting and/or automation tools; data center environments including storage, compute, networking, and cloud.

Engage our customers in new areas like application development and data center operations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


Excellent understanding of Cisco products and solutions with 5+ years in systems engineering or architecture (pre and post sales).

BS/BA in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Local to the Washington DC area with availability to travel every other week.

Applicant must have at minimum US Top Secret Security Clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


CCNP - CCIE strongly preferred.


Ability to establish and maintain customer relationships at the executive / business decision maker level.

Strong prioritization skills with proven track record of driving results.

Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to deliver a compelling message to a diverse audience.

Strong understanding of Cisco?s product set as well as understanding of the competitive landscape.
