Job description
• Conduct site surveys and perform engineering designs for rooftop solar power projects.
• Prepare design drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings for the project.
• Calculate, simulate, and optimize system performance using specialized design software.
• Coordinate with relevant departments during project implementation to ensure the progress and quality of work.
• Assist in preparing technical documentation, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Bill of Materials (BOM), and other documents necessary for project implementation.
• Provide support in resolving technical issues arising during the construction, acceptance testing, and operation of the system.
• Stay updated on new technologies, trends, and solutions in the renewable energy sector.
• Perform other tasks as required by management.
Job requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or related engineering fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in designing electrical or renewable energy systems; candidates with experience in the solar power sector are preferred.
• Possess basic knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, grid connection, and solar power system design.
• Experience using one or more design software programs such as PVSyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, or SketchUp.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and prepare design documents.
• Understanding the technical standards related to solar power systems is an advantage.
Knowledge of battery-powered energy storage systems (BESS Block Blast Free) is an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents in English.
• Proactive, eager to learn, responsible in their work, and possessing strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to conduct field surveys or perform other duties when needed.
