Software Verification Fall 2025 Co - Op

Are you a hard-working and dedicated engineer and an inquisitive problem solver? If so, then Tektronix might be the place for you! We are seeking a semester long Fall 2025 Co-Op to join our Software Verification team! As part of the team, Co-Ops will be empowered to preform various software verification tasks. We strive to provide experience within embedded firmware, instrument interfaces/communication protocols, software and customer use case testing.

Responsibilities:

Writing software to control and display data for various coordinated test and measurement systems.

Building test plans and methodologies and conduct the testing to determine if products meet their functional requirements. Examples are: Embedded firmware command structure, user interface testing, functional testing, system level validation, etc.

Collaborate with other specialists to craft test fixtures and develop automated test software.

We will help you coordinate design improvements for existing stations as per product requirements.

Qualifications:

A successful candidate will be a fast learner, hard-working, and self-motivated individual with a curiosity about Software Verification. Other highly valued skills include:

Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

Confirmed experience developing analog hardware circuit designs and/or digital hardware design.

We look for candidates who will challenge themselves to gain a better understanding of precision and general test measurement equipment.

Stong understanding of computer programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and Lua.

Prior experience with Windows/Unix/Linux Operating Systems is helpful.

Structured problem solving background/interest preferred.
