Program Description: The Census Bureau conducts numerous surveys and censuses that use field representatives/interviewers, enumerators, contact center agents, clerks and Headquarters analysts to collect data directly from the respondents on the phone or in person. This type of data collection is interviewer assisted. When direct contact is made with the respondent, the Census Bureau interviewer may capture the responses electronically (mobile device or desktop) or on paper. Multiple software products are used to develop automated instruments at the Census Bureau. In order to achieve operational efficiency. The Government's objective is to deploy mobile software applications that are multi-form factor, platform agnostic and "future ready". Field Mobile Applications are used to meet USCB's ongoing field data collection mission needs. This encompasses the full range of architecture, engineering, integration and transition services needed to implement mission needs for Current Programs.

Position Description:

The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for leading all aspects of functional and/or load and stress testing. Qualified candidate should be knowledgeable in the areas of project planning, technical assessment, tool selection, installation and configuration.They will ultimately be responsible for the test plan, the design and development of tests, execution of tests, and presentation of test results.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Must have 8 years of relevant experience

• Must be able to obtain public trust security clearance
• Knowledgeable in the areas of project planning, technical assessment, tool selection, installation, and configuration
• Highly proficient in the use of software testing and profiling tools.
• Familiarity of deploying and promoting test builds
• Basic knowledge writing SQL queries and running procedures to test database updates/operations
• Should have experience making REST calls to test Webservices

• Oracle SQL Developer
• Apache JMeter or similar REST Client
