• Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to learn quickly.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience working in product-based companies.
• At least 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or GoLang.
• Experience working with a variety of data stores (SQL, NoSQL) and queuing systems.
• Deep knowledge of backend architecture, system design, distributed systems, and microservices development.
• Familiarity with application logging and monitoring tools like Prometheus.
• Ability to optimize and enhance backend system performance.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and understanding of web development principles.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Passion for learning new technologies and delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust services and platforms adhering to high-quality standards.
• Follow and contribute to best practices within the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with product and tech teams to deliver efficient, maintainable, and well-tested software solutions.
• Partner with business teams to understand user journeys and address critical growth challenges.
• Lead architectural design efforts for microservices across new and existing systems, ensuring accurate estimations and timely delivery.
• Work with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS and GCP.
• Drive product and design discussions, contributing innovative and scalable solutions.
• Mentor and guide team members, raising the overall technical excellence.
• Take ownership of key functional areas from product conception through delivery, including maintaining comprehensive documentation, writing high-quality code, and ensuring sufficient unit test coverage.
• Participate actively in code reviews, create technical specifications, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
