As a Senior Lead Site Reliability Engineer , you will be responsible for:

Leading and mentoring a team of experienced SRE engineers

Developing and maintaining Akamai's Cyber Security SaaS cloud platform

Designing and implementing cloud strategies and policies that meet the organization's needs

Designing architecture and overview implementation of complex cloud-based architectures and solutions.

Enforcing quality processes, perform technical root cause analysis, and promote developer autonomy

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of SRE and cloud strategies

Engaging in day-to-day troubleshooting, code reviews, and system maintenance to ensure operational excellence while leading your team.

Maintaining and exceed high SLA targets, ensuring robust system uptime and performance

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

years of experience in a team lead or manager role.

Experience with modern container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes).

Experience with cloud platforms like GCP, Linode, Azure, or AWS.

Experience in managing and troubleshooting Linux systems.

Have knowledge of software architecture, micro-services, and performance considerations.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The base salary for this position ranges from $106,600 - $221,400/year; a candidate?s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
