Parallel Employment is seeking a skilled Shop and Semi-trucks Mechanic to join our team. As a mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining semi-trucks and other types of vehicles. Your primary focus will be ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
- Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on semi-trucks and other vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Inspect and test vehicles to identify potential problems
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
- Keep accurate records of work performed
- Assist with other shop tasks as needed
Requirements
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as a mechanic, preferably working on semi-trucks
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
