Shop and Semi-trucks Mechanic

Parallel Employment is seeking a skilled Shop and Semi-trucks Mechanic to join our team. As a mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining semi-trucks and other types of vehicles. Your primary focus will be ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.

• Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance on semi-trucks and other vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Inspect and test vehicles to identify potential problems
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
• Keep accurate records of work performed
• Assist with other shop tasks as needed

Requirements

• Requirements:
• Previous experience as a mechanic, preferably working on semi-trucks
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
