Shooter/Producer - YouTube

Confidential Client (via Snowball) | Boston or NYC (hybrid)

We're hiring a Shooter/Producer to help create YouTube content for a confidential client with a large and fast-growing channel in the business and tech space. The ideal candidate is comfortable behind the camera, experienced in end-to-end production, and able to execute with both creativity and efficiency.

You'll be hands-on throughout the process managing camera, lighting, and audio, and collaborating with editors to bring each story to life. This role is a great fit for someone who understands YouTube formats and enjoys creating edutainment videos.

What You'll Do

• Own the full production process: prep, shoot, direct, and collaborate on post
• Film and produce YouTube-first content in studio and field environments
• Help shape visual style and bring strong pacing and clarity to every video
• Work with producers, editors, and content strategists to ensure top-tier execution
• Bring ideas to life that simplify complex topics in business, tech, or digital strategy
• Capture b-roll, interviews, walk-and-talks, and documentary-style footage
• Contribute creatively to story development and shoot planning
  

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a shooter/producer or videographer working in digital media
• Strong camera, lighting, and audio skills (Sony FX3/FX6 or similar a plus)
• Obsessed with YouTube you understand the formats, pacing, and storytelling styles that work
• Able to shoot solo and work scrappily when needed without compromising quality
• Excellent communicator, team player, and problem solver on set
• Must be based in NYC or Boston, or willing to relocate

Nice to Have

• Experience directing on-camera talent
• Familiarity with post workflows (you'll collaborate with editors but don't need to edit)
• Interest or background in business, tech, or SEO storytelling
