Shipping/Receiving Loader

This position has a schedule of Monday through Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm with a 1-hour lunch break.

SynCot Plastics, a Vinmar Company, is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Shipping/Receiving Loader to join our team in Belmont, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials and products in the shipping and receiving areas. Your primary duties will include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently. You will ensure that shipments are accurately documented, inspect received items for quality and quantity, and maintain organized storage areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment, a strong understanding of safety procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. • Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
• Inspect shipments for accuracy and condition upon arrival and before departure.
• Maintain accurate records of shipped and received materials.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Organize and stock materials in the warehouse to optimize space utilization.
• Collaborate with the quality and production teams to ensure timely processing of orders.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations preferred.
• Knowledge of safe operating procedures for forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
