Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

Parallel Employment Group is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the shipping and receiving department, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently while meeting customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Manage and train staff members to maximize productivity and maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain shipping and receiving records, including bills of lading, packing lists, and other documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve workflow and efficiency across operations.
• Utilize software systems to track shipments and inventory levels.

Requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Proficient in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of inventory management best practices.
• RF Scanner System
