SharePoint Developer

As a Software Developer with expertise in SharePoint, you will be instrumental in crafting, developing, and sustaining innovative SharePoint solutions that boost our business workflows and foster collaboration throughout the organization. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will gain insights into their needs, create tailored features and applications, and guarantee smooth integration with various other systems.

Requirements

SharePoint Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom SharePoint solutions, including web parts, workflows, and site features, using SharePoint Online and on-premises versions.

Application Development: Experience with Object Oriented Programing languages required. Build and maintain web applications and services using .NET, C#, JavaScript, and related technologies, ensuring high performance and scalability, to include building/maintain associated Power BI dashboard(s).

Integration : Integrate SharePoint with third-party systems and services using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and other integration tools. Experience Windows Server and IIS optional, but helpful

Customization : Customize SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists to meet business requirements and improve user experience. Experience with web development standards/frameworks required - HTML, CSS, JavaScript required, and jQuery preferred.

Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for SharePoint-related issues, troubleshoot and resolve problems, and ensure system stability and performance.

Collaboration : Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver projects on time. Experience with software development tools and process preferred - SCRUM, Sprints / Jira, Git, etc.

Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation for SharePoint solutions, including design specifications, user guides, and deployment procedures.

Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest SharePoint and development trends, and continuously seek ways to improve processes and technology.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on SharePoint.

• Proficiency in SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint 2016/2019.
• Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint Designer, and PowerShell.
• Strong knowledge of .NET, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and SQL.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript libraries (e.g., jQuery, Angular, React).
• Experience with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and other integration tools.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

• Must be able to pass a T5 security clearance investigation
• Current Security+ certification or other DoD 8140 IAT/IAM Level II / III certification required
