Job Description

Direct Counsel has partnered with a prestigious Personal Injury firm in Downtown Los Angeles in search of Pre-Litigation Attorney or Settlement Negotiator . This is an onsite position with M-F working hours.

Qualifications:

Previous bodily injury claims experience

Car insurance negotiation experience a pluswhether plaintiffs? civil or defense side cases.

Experience as either an associate attorney with personal injury pre-litigation or a claims negotiator

Responsibilities include:

Negotiating personal injury cases against insurance companies

Reviewing and submitting demand letters/packages

Negotiating settlements for various cases involving bodily injury (MVAs, premises liability, dog bites, etc.)

Negotiating liens with a variety of vendors (doctors, chiropractors, rehabilitation centers, etc.)

Direct client communication and support

Preferred skills

Excellent demand, settlement, and negotiation skills

Detail oriented

Self-starter, team player, able to achieve results with minimal supervision

Excellent oral and written skills

Outstanding organizational skills

Effective employee management skills (will be overseeing two team members)

Able to handle a high volume of cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
