Job Description

The Company

Halo Industries has developed breakthrough technology to revolutionize a decades-old semiconductor material slicing process. Our laser-based solution minimizes waste, enhances material cost efficiency, and drives innovations across high-growth markets, including automotive, telecommunications, and power electronics. Founded in 2014 at Stanford University, Halo received significant funding in 2024, paving the way for rapid expansion, strategic customer engagement, and the launch of volume manufacturing.

The Opportunity

As we transition from pilot to full-scale production, we seek a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive the development and deployment of our production tooling. This role is critical in executing Halo's strategic roadmap, optimizing program execution, and coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver our first fully integrated production line.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Program Leadership: Define program scope, milestones, budgets, and deliverables aligned with Halo's strategic goals.
  • Execution & Coordination: Drive cross-functional execution, proactively resolving bottlenecks and maintaining project timelines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Interface with internal teams, external engineering partners, and suppliers to align priorities and resolve dependencies.
  • Process Optimization: Implement structured project management methodologies to improve efficiency and execution speed.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks early, develop contingency plans, and escalate issues as needed.

Requirements

Preferred Education & Experience

We are looking for candidates who have a strong educational background and relevant experience. While a Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred, we value practical knowledge and expertise just as much. So, if you have at least 8 years of experience in engineering, with a solid track record of 3 years in technical program/project management within the capital equipment or related industries, you could be a great fit for this position.

What We're Looking For
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, capable of building consensus among diverse stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication abilities, with a proven track record of bridging gaps between technical and non-technical teams
  • Solid technical background, demonstrating a content-driven approach to project management
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on achieving results and driving profitability
  • Process-oriented with excellent planning skills, capable of setting clear goals and maintaining consistency in approach
  • Strategic thinker with a knack for driving change and transformation while remaining hands-on and results-oriented
  • Mature and independent, possessing the gravitas to garner immediate acceptance within the organization
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a bias for speed and execution
Bonus
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
